نویسندگان

چکیده

Aim of the Study: This study aims to evaluate cytotoxicity different stereolithographic 3D printed materials and polyetheretherketone for varying time intervals using MTT assay by application these intra-oral usage. Materials Methods: Three groups disc specimens (5 mm diameter, 2 thick) were manufactured either selective laser melting (PA6 nylon, fiber reinforced PA6 nylon) or milling (PEEK). The was tested culturing samples on human fibroblast cell lines prior assays (3- (4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide, a yellow tetrazole). completed at 3, 6, 10 days. Cell grown in normal medium without experimental material served as control. total number viability cells pre-incubated with fiber-reinforced PEEK comparable control samples. Differences between growth inhibitory effects below 0.05%. Results: Both nylon reduced proliferation fibroblasts up 6 days treatment. had better biocompatibility than nylon. are 3DPrinted that showed However, soaking made them safe cells. Conclusion: can be considered intraoral usage is biocompatible. increased in-vitro death days, suggesting they non-biocompatible beyond

In Vitro Cytotoxicity of Two Categories of Dental Cements

Background and Aim: Resin cements are used widely in restorative dentistry regardless of their biocompatibility. The aim of this study was to compare the cytotoxicity of two categories of dental cements consisting of three chemically set cements (Fuji I, Fuji PLUS and Harvard) and two dual curing cements (BisCem and Duo-Link) by use of MTT assay. Materials and Methods: In this experimental s...
